Working primarily in the North woods of Minnesota, True North Cedar selects, harvests, and buys only premium specimens of northern white cedar. Specimens are sorted and graded to make full use of each tree. Material is sorted for house logs, lumber, shingles and fence pickets.
Our mills are in Superior, WI and across the harbor in Duluth, MN. Precision millwork is overseen by Duluth Timber Co.--in the reclaimed timber and lumber business for 30 years.

- Full Use – From pickets made of toppings to logs made of bases, each cedar tree is used in full.
- Refurbished Equipment – Whenever possible, True North Cedar buys and re-tools used equipment.
- We Recycle – All pallets are recycled and reincarnated and used again.
- We Make Mulch – True North uses all tree harvest waste to make our great garden and landscape mulch.
